Welcome To Freedom Church!

Kendall and Starla Bridges met in Bible College in August 1981, married in August 1982, had their first of four children in August 1983. They have two sons and two daughters, all married, beautiful and world changers. They have nine grandchildren that are the best ever! So much fun! 3 boys and 6 girls, who call them “Pops and Shoobie.” They pastor Freedom Church in Carrollton, Texas, where their mission is “helping people find freedom.”

Kendall and Starla authored their first book together Better Marriage Against All Odds telling their story of being married, broken, and then restored (available on Amazon). They also travel and speak at marriage conferences, date nights and weekend services to share their story as well as equip couples to have the beautiful, better marriage God intended for all of us to have.

What about the Messages?
You will hear practical, inspiring, bible based messages about real life problems and real life solutions!

How long will it last?
From start to finish, our services typically last about an hour and ten minutes.

What's the style of music?
Our worship music is more contemporary with a full band.

What should I wear?
Casual is definitely in! We think blue jeans were made in heaven, but many people still feel comfortable wearing suits and ties. So, you can choose what you’re most comfortable wearing... but the Pastor will probably be wearing jeans!

What’s available for my kids?
Nursery is available for children infant through pre-k.
Children’s Church is available for kids K-5th grade.

What’s available for my teenagers?
Freedom Youth, grades 6th – 12th, meet on Wednesday nights.

Will I fit in?
Yes. Everyone is welcome!

What We Believe

The Bible is the bottom line (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thes. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)

God is God–revealed in three persons…Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; Isa 43:10-11; Matt 28:19)

Jesus is God’s son, firstborn and only born (Matt 1:23; Heb 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22; Acts 10:38)

Man messed up and fell in sin (Gen 1:26, 27; 2:17; 3:6; Rom 5:12-19)

Although we don’t deserve it we can be saved (Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Rom 10:13-15; Eph 2:8; 4:24)

Water baptism and Holy Communion make God smile (Matt 28:19; Mark 16:16; 2 Pet 1:4)
