Who are groups for, and why should I join one?
Small Groups typically consist of 5 to 12 people that meet bi-weekly or monthly around North DFW in homes, coffee shops, parks, and even online. They are usually book-ended by hangout time together with a short study on a relevant topic in between.
Whether you are still figuring out this whole God thing, a new believer, or a long-time follower of Jesus, a group will inspire you to grow relationally and spiritually with some great people from our community.
Can I join a group at any time?
Yes, but joining a fresh group during one of our February or September launches is recommended if you’re new to groups.
Do groups cost money?
No, all groups are free! Some groups go through a study and have each group member purchase a book or participant’s guide, but that will be mentioned in the group description.
How long do I meet with my group?
Our Small Groups usually run for 12 weeks at a time (6 gatherings bi-weekly). Many choose to continue in the same group from semester to semester, while others switch groups a few times to find just the right fit. We encourage you to join and try a group for a few weeks to give the members a chance to make a connection with you.
What Childcare Is Available?
Many groups with pre-k and elementary-aged children meet on Sunday nights when we have affordable childcare available at the church. Other groups offer childcare options that suit their group needs.
